There are rumors circulating that General Granitz has not laughed in years! He treats Oryze like a daughter, and he is close friends with Morozof, who drinks him under the table regularly.”

We Decided he needed to look imposing, since even Zolgonark regards him as dangerous. He had to look like an unstoppable force who isn’t at all affected by being pierced with an iron stake or chained down.

Initially, we colored him sharply to show he was a guardian of some sort, and we made him just big enough to hold a weapon. However, we realized it’d be strange for a prisoner to be holding a weapon, so we switched directions entirely and redesigned him as some horrendous creature that’s been sealed away. To put it into perspective, in his original designs, he was a cute, little monster, not much bigger than one of the pillars on this guy’s back!
